This paper deals with the analysis of the transformation of the political system of the first Czechoslovak Republic in connection with the existence of an extra-parliamentary, non- governmental and extra-constitutional body in the form of Five on the basis of the theory of Arend Lijphart not only in the form of a consensual theory of democracy, but mainly based on its later widespread concept of two opposing models of democracy Consensus and Westminster definition.
